The committee has subpoena power, she claims to have knowledge that at least some of the committee members think is relevant and material to the confirmation proceedings, and nothing she could have to say is privileged. If you want her testimony, subpoena her. Otherwise, don’t.

But they remain divided on the order of a possible hearing— Ford's lawyers want Kavanaugh to go first but Republicans insist he go second. Ford's lawyers want to call additional witnesses, including subpoenaing Mark Judge, a classmate of Kavanaugh's and potential witness.

Since when does a witness get to call other witnesses in any proceeding?

Can you imagine the optics as Sen. Feinstein has to repeatedly raise her voice against "Senator John KENNEDY".
