I call nonsense on it - they’ve never heard of a post office or where one is?

I'll bet it would not take much effort to find 30-year olds who have never mailed anything. They've never been to the post office. They've never purchased a stamp.

If they’re too stupid to know how to use stamps, I’d rather they didn’t vote.

You can order stamps by mail at www.usps.com.

I just put a note in my mail box.

I once forgot to put a check with it and she left me a book anyway along with a note.

Can also get them at the supermarket.

I don’t know how it is in other places but here in Florida you can usually buy postage stamps at Publix if you can’t make it to the post office.

Then they are too dumb to vote. A self-solving situation.

It’s called a post office.

If they get to the post office after the desk closes, they’re out of luck...no stamp machines in the lobby. I’ve directed people looking for stamps to the nearest grocery store on a few occasions.

Where I live (when not on the road/flying) our PO is the meeting place when folks come into town to collect their mail since lots of places don’t have mail delivery to their houses.

And wouldn’t you think a writer with this publication would know that postage is no longer $0.49? I thought it was and went to buy a roll of 100 stamps the other day and the gal asked for $50.00....I asked her when the rate went up and she said the first of the year. She was offended that I didn’t know! Ooops - sorry lady!

Bogus article. Here in NH the students do this every year. They send home absentee ballots and vote here in our elections. These kids are very organized and if you think they don’t know where to buy stamps..... the author is trying to redirect.

“”Who buys stamps in 2018?””

Who wouldn’t unless they don’t send thank you notes or greeting cards or Christmas cards?

You got that right.

Buuut..... those kind of people probably don’t vote like we do....

Maybe this is just another one of those articles meant to inspire panic and get the youth(leftist)vote out.

I don't buy this for a minute because a simple Google search "How to buy a stamp" turns up millions of instant results including options to buy them online.

Supermarkets sell them. I rarely buy - at the post office for my tax return and that sort of thing.

Specifically in Fairfax:

Office Depot, Walmart, CVS, Whole Foods, Giant, Safeway, Shoppers Food Warehouse, Staples, and actual post offices.
