The California High Speed Rail Authority (CHSRA) surprised local communities on Wednesday by proposing a controversial Burbank-to-Palmdale route featuring above-ground tracks. Well if you want to see the wind turbines supplying the power for the choo choo. Hmm. Is riding that thing “known to cause cancer in the state of California”? My garden hose causes it. Good thing we’re in NV.

As the boondoggle train’s routes go, at least that one would have paying passengers.

Rush from Burbank to Palmdale = ~ 90 minutes.

On a good day.

Ten pm - half that.
