I don’t know if the latest plan was to have Kavanaugh’s lawyer question her. That was the original idea, but I believe the Senate GOP committee members had retained outside counsel for the committee to do that dirty work.
Add to that, Feinstein won’t let them see the letter.
Since when can an accuser set the terms in any court of law, and since when can an accuser dictate the terms the Senate must abide by? This is nonsense. If you have nothing to hide, why must there be terms? If the stupid party relents to this crap, they deserve it. It would seem logical that the Republicans would have enough testosterone to resent Chuck Schumer screwing them around and just tell him to go to hell — and then vote Kavanaugh in.

What BS, Its the right of the accused to face their accuser through due process and to hear the charges against them first and have the “prosecution” make its case. This is completely designed for political theater not to get at the truth.
