WASHINGTON – U.S. Senate Democratic Whip Dick Durbin (D-IL), a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, today called on the Trump White House to request that the FBI’s career professionals conduct an independent investigation into the serious and credible sexual assault allegation against Judge Brett Kavanaugh, President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee. In a speech on the Senate floor, Durbin argued that the FBI needs to interview witnesses, review all of the evidence, and report their findings to the Committee ahead of a hearing on these allegations. Durbin also urged Senate Judiciary Committee Republicans to ensure that all relevant witnesses are invited to testify at the hearing.
Yesterday, Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA), Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, announced a public hearing for Monday, September 24, 2018, and invited Judge Kavanaugh and Dr. Christine Blasey Ford to testify, under oath, about these allegations.
“If we are going to have a hearing on Monday, we should walk in to that hearing after an investigation,” said Durbin.

There is no allegation that meets any objective legal standard.
Betty Ford can file a police report or a sworn affidavit. Until then, she's just a citizen who wrote a letter to a U.S. Senator, did an interview with the Washington Post, and made an appearance on the "Today" show.
Does this include Keith Ellison, Bill Clinton and The PIAPS role in covering up her husband’s rapes?

There's that word again. They all sure love to throw that word around, don't they? It doesn't become "credible" just because a bunch of Democrats and liberal activist-types keep saying so. It's still literally one person's wild fantasy, with no corroborating witnesses, no evidence, no nothing really. She can't tell anyone the home address, the date, who else was in the house (other than people that don't back her up), whose house it was, nothing. This is a joke.
The FBI does not investigate groping allegations by minors in High School. This would not be a federal crime.
Durbin has his head jammed so far up his keister, his tonsils are stuck in his navel.

Second of all Dick, There is no evidence of anything to investigate.
We don’t know where or even when.
Durbin, is wrong, the story is not credible. The are few facts and even those have not been consistent. It would never stand up in court.
Decades old tale of minors drinking alcohol. Then after the impeccable life that Kav has led, we are supposed to erase all of that because of this drunk incident when he was 17 years old.
