The foundation behind the planned Obama Presidential Center in Chicago has a tentative agreement with the city to pay just $10 to use 19.3 acres of city park space for 99 years, according to a report.
The accord is described in legislation that Mayor Rahm Emanuel's administration will send to the City Council on Thursday, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.
If approved, the proposals will bring the estimated $350 million project closer to reality.
Per the agreement, the city will own the buildings and grounds, while the Obama Foundation will be responsible for the center’s upkeep and management, Crain’s Chicago Business reported.

Funny. Years ago there was an industrial property on the near south side that was on, I think, the Calumet that the city cold have purchased for $55K to store road salt. Instead, a friend of then Mayor Daley owned it and received millions in rent. That place is such a cesspool.

If that be so, I would venture a guess that it will never get built due to those enterprising BLM folks having stolen most of the building materials. Yes Chicago, like many other demodummie controlled cities needs a new mayor.
There will be no hard-copy records from Zer0’s time in the WH kept at this “library”. There will be terminals where you can access electronic “copies” of records (who knows if they’ll be un-tampered-with). There are also supposed to be meeting spaces and other “collaberative” aspects to the facility. All style (though bad style, just like the Wookiee), no substance.
It’s a “community organizer’s” dream, to be sure. With any luck, in a few years it’ll look like an old Olympics site, full of graffiti, weeds, and broken windows. A perfect encapsulation of the Obongo regime.
