The woman who accused Minnesota Democratic Rep. Keith Ellison of domestic abuse said on Monday that Democrats don’t believe her story and threatened to isolate her over the allegations.
Karen Monahan, a former girlfriend, came forward last month alleging that Ellison sent her threatening text messages and once screamed obscenities at her as he dragged her off a bed by her feet.
Ellison has denied the accusations, saying he “never behaved this way.” He did acknowledge he was in a relationship with the woman.
The allegations didn’t lead to any immediate action against the congressman, except for the announcement that the Democratic National Committee (DNC) would review the accusations. He went on to win the Democratic primary election for Minnesota attorney general.

Whether or not they believe her story makes no difference at all.
Her problem is that her experiences with Keith Ellison do nothing to advance the political interests of the Democrat party.

Silly woman. If a Democrat politician assaults you, you asked for it. They are too important to be charged with such a minor affair.
Maybe kamala harris and schumer shoild be asking for an FBI Investigation of Ellison, like they are calling for Kavanagh.
She should have allowed herself to be abused by a republican. Poor choices.
If a woman files charges over a recent violent assault involving a democrat, the accused should be reelected.
If a woman makes a vague claim that a republican touched her, 30 years later and without specifics, the accused is disqualified from consideration for any position.
