A leaked survey conducted for the Republican National Committee (RNC) found that a majority of President Trumps supporters dont believe that Democrats have a chance to win back the House during Novembers midterm elections.
Bloomberg Business on Tuesday published the survey, completed by Public Opinion Strategies polling firm on Sept. 2.
The results are likely to augment GOP fears about Trump's base not showing up for the midterms, when the president himself will not be on the ballot but House and Senate majorities are in play.
ifty-seven percent of people who identified as strong Trump supporters said Democrats dont have a chance to win big, while 37 percent believe they do, according to the poll.
The majority of respondents 71 percent overall said it was extremely or somewhat likely that Democrats would be victorious in November, compared to the 25 percent who did not agree.

If people are lazy , stay home, GOP will lose.
When a party does not respect the will of the voters things don’t end well.
This attitude will doom us.

Karl Rove keeps sending me texts to donate to the GOP. Anyone off the street would do a better job of asking for donations.
congratulations on becoming a citizen...
Silent Majority
yup- since 2006 whenever they call or email me for $$$ i’ve given them the same line- when you (GOPe) start fighting for me the way i fight and have fought for you, then you can start asking me for $$$...
i’ve not received an email from them in a long, long time...
Right. Were to blame. Isnt that always the way.
But Paul Ryan and tge gang...no blame there.
Here in Florida we were subjected to months of radio ads attacking DeSantis in the primary season. Produced by the likes of Big Sugar, undoubtedly. OTOH, I’ve yet to hear a single anti-Gillum radio ad.
The GOPe just isn’t interested in fighting these battles. It’s up to us to pull there pathetic behinds over the finish line.
Our Last Chance? [Can Donald Trump Revive The "Spirit of '76?]
Couldn’t be because we’re sick and tired of seeing the GOP get throat punched on a daily basis with absolutely zero retaliation, could it? Nobody I know likes a wimp...
This attitude will doom us.

The attitude is “what difference does it make.” GOP base voters are demoralized seeing elected Republicans gratuitously undermine POTUS on the Mueller coup, etc.
If you are paying for polls, I assume you pay for a representative sample of the whole population.
If you take a poll of Republicans only, and then one of the entire electorate, you'd probably have to pay more.
So my assumption is that they polled a representative sample of all voters and then were concerned by the discrepancy in the expectations of pro-Trump Republicans and the rest of the population.
Complacency can be a very dangerous thing.
He is pulling your chain. Professional has been on FR since 1998
Look, fact is, HATE, his the best motivator.
Neo-Marxist left are frothing at the mouth.
Dems pick up 45+ House seats.
Were not complacent.
Some of us are further along the path of understanding than others, thats all.
The Republicans do not comprehend how much normal people hate them. They think that the people want what the GOP paymasters want, when most normal people want those paymasters hanged for treason.
Unfortunately, in a two party system, throwing out the garbage entails giving power to the other guys.
From 2010-2018 the GOP did nothing for the people, and in fact worked actively to harm them. They are about to pay the price.
Polls are not intended to gauge opinions, but to shape them and to spur desired reactions. In this case, the Republican National Committee is shilling for donations under the false guise of panic. I only donate to specific candidates, so the RNC can go pack sand.
Complacent Voters my A$$.How about a bunch of low life RINO’s who are allowing the Rats to get away with this Coup against a Lawfully elected President.
They sit by and do Nothing.
Well look at the math this way:
Assume that there are 100 people polled. 50 Trump supporters and 50 who dont support Trump.
If 57% of the Trump supporters (the majority stated in the article) believe the Dems have no chance, that would be 57% of 50 or 28.5. Round up to 29 because we cant have 0.5 people.
If all non-Trump supporters think the Dems have a chance (and being the sheep they are, they all tend to think exactly alike) that would mean all 50 of them, plus the remainder of the Trump supporters (21 people) believe the Dems have a chance. That gives you 71 out of 100 or 71%.
Not saying this is exactly the results of the polls - but it is something along these lines.
I thought Trump voters are Nazis. So now were complacent Nazis? Weird.
