A story this old and unprovable can’t be allowed to delay a Supreme Court confirmation vote.
The woman accusing Brett Kavanaugh of a drunken assault when both were teenagers has now come forward publicly, but that should not deter Republicans from proceeding with their current confirmation-vote schedule. There is no way to confirm her story after 35 years, and to let it stop Mr. Kavanaugh’s confirmation would ratify what has all the earmarks of a calculated political ambush.

Kavanaugh denies it and he has been living an exemplary life. Don't take Dem smears seriously.
At a party 35 years ago, a very drunken Christine Blasey Ford grabbed my privates and tried to have sex with me. I don’t remember exactly when or where it happened, because I was drinking at the time. I have never told anyone about it before today (except for vague references to a therapist over 30 years after it happened), but it has caused me great mental anguish over the years.
I am entitled to be believed because people do not lie about things like that, even when they are extremist political activists and intend to remain anonymous. #MeToo

Is there any evidence that Brett Kavanaugh EVER went to a party of this nature? From what I have thus far learned of his early lifetime, he seems an unlikely candidate to be at an unsupervised gathering with no adults present and open access to alcohol.
“Nerd”, though it is considered to a pejorative term, is also a defense against the destruction of reputation that is now ongoing. Nobody would have invited him in the first place, and his own upbringing would have constrained him for even considering a visit to “wild parties”.
Backbone the GOP...they have none...

The only party with drinking which I ever remember attending was when I ordered one of those flashing blue lights and a PA speaker from a J.C. Whitney catalog. Who remembers J.C. Whitney?
Anyway, a couple of friends of mine decided it would be fun to drive over to another friend's house who was hosting a party while his parents were away. We pulled up with that flashing blue light and made an announcement, then laughed as the house emptied of other high school kids in various conditions of dress and inebration.
In a just country, that would be the end of it.
JC Whitney. Every product they sold improved your gas mileage.

Kavanaugh protects women.
J.C. Whitney’s still out there online, though I haven’t seen one of the paper catalogs in forever. I used to get all sorts of stuff from J.C. Whitney, back when I was keeping old VWs running most of the time.
Whole episode os a “recovered memory” - si if the worm is caught out in a lie, “it was just a recovered memory”.
That and her mom was evicted by Kavnaugh’s mom, also a judge. - could be payback. Not mentioned in the MSM...
The only witness to the event is Mr. Kavanaugh’s high school male friend, Mark Judge, who also says he recalls no such event.
In a just country, that would be the end of it.
But in this country, it wouldn’t surprise me if there was another leftwing radical being coached as we speak eager to lie for the higher cause and say they remember BK too.
I don’t understand at all why conservative commentators are whining about why the democrats waited to the last minute to come out with the accusation.
It was plainly done for the effect it has produced: to create a sh*t storm when all else fails.
And all democrats and some Republicans are going right along with the charade as if it merits attention.
We have two witnesses directly contradicting the accuser. The accuser has safely positioned, she thinks, her accusations with as far as time period down to many months so she thinks no one in the world would be able to pin her down and expose her. She doesn’t know when it happened, where it happened.
If it were a court of law, the case would be laughed out.

If she told others at the time it would be somewhat believable.
Her thinking Kavanaugh was trying to kill her raises the question of her judgement.
The Washington Post says she says there were four boys in the house.
Have they found the other boys and talked to them?
Does she know the names of the other people at the party?
“She doesn’t know when it happened, where it happened.”
If it was that traumatic, she’d remember well.
So the current Dem strategy is to keep running whores at our candidates and nominees. At least they’ll never run out.
