Pompeo: There's no precedent for what Kerry did

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Friday blasted former Secretary of State John Kerry’s meetings with Iranian officials since leaving office.

"What Secretary Kerry has done is unseemly and unprecedented," Pompeo told reporters at the State Department, according to CNN.

"This is a former secretary of state engaged with the world's largest state sponsor of terror and according to him, he was talking to them, he was telling them to wait out this administration," Pompeo added.

"You can't find precedent for this in US history and the secretary ought not engage in this kind of behavior," Pompeo continued. "It's beyond inappropriate."

Asked if he thought Kerry's meeting had been illegal, Pompeo said he would leave the "legal determinations to others."

Kerry admitted this week that he met with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif “three or four times” since leaving office but denied he was trying to coach him through the Trump administration’s rejection of the 2015 Iran nuclear deal.

In an interview earlier this week, Kerry justified his meetings with Iranian officials, claiming, “Every secretary of state, former secretary of state continues to meet with foreign leaders, goes to security conferences, goes around the world. We all do that. And we have conversations with people about the state of affairs in the world in order to understand them. We don't negotiate. We are not involved in interfering with policy. But we certainly have reasonable discussions about nuclear weapons, the world, China, different policies obviously.”

If we do not prosecute John Kerry, we owe apologies to Benedict Arnold and Private Eddie Slocam

Arrogant? Just because he takes up handicapped spaces with his car, and when confronted says "do you know who I am?" That's just PTSD from when he shot at a rock and a splinter hit his finger. He has the purple heart decoration to prove it, even though he threw a ribbon over a fence. But I digress. PTSD, I say. He suffers from confusion of identity. That's why he says he's Irish, too. He should run with Fauxcohantas. What a team. Somebody stop me!

You mean John Kerry.

I thought it was Jim Wright, but the picture says otherwise :-)

Pictured are John Kerry, Tom Harkin and Harkin’s drooling wife. I don’t know if that lets Jim Wright off the hook though. I don’t know about him one way or the other.

I’d LMAO if they went ahead and prosecuted Kerry...and nobody came to his defense. Do people really like Kerry?*******************

It’s hard telling not knowing if people like him or not. At the very least, he’s a useful idiot with connections so they’ll work to keep him around.

First it’s not a theory.....Second You’re first word “No” was enough to deter reading further and I certainly don’t need schooling about what’s happening now nor that you’ve mentioned...

What I do know is expectations are very high many here are looking for blood in the water yesterday and asap......and by not getting it the complaints and whining will just continue....

I won’t settle for low fruit....I want the whole cabal to come down because all roads lead to Obama and Hillary. You can settle for low hanging fruit...I will not.
