I’ve never understood why Silicon Valley is so far-left-leaning. These guys are computer nerds, basically engineers with specialized coding skills. Engineers are usually apolitical. What happened?

Too many people running things and working there who are in the U.S. from socialist/communist/totalitarian countries and still have that mindset.

Most of these people are from academia which has had years of leftist indoctrination.
