That may well be true. Alternatively, he could release the FISA docs in a sequential fashion. The drip, drip, drip tactic that Mueller is using.
The hurricane will dominate the news for the next few days so no sense in releasing them now. I do worry that waiting too long may give time for Mueller and his pals inside the DOJ and FBI to fabricate some new “evidence” or charges against Trump. I don’t like the idea of giving your enemy time to regroup and amass its forces.

I have a lot of faith in Trump - he’s a smart cookie, he loves his country, and he is virtually fearless. And since he is obviously in possession of a great many facts that I am not privy to, I have to assume he has good reasons for playing this stuff out the way he is.
Maybe it’s like when you have a gigantic fish on the line, you don’t just reel it in with all your might. Or maybe it’s something else completely.
There is just no way in hell he would stand by and let the deep state destroy his presidency.
So, even though it appears as though that is what is happening, appearances can be deceiving.

Good analysis. I think there’s another reason why Trump is not declassifying this stuff as quickly as people here had hoped..
I get the feeling Trump badly wants the details of this conspiracy to come to light, but he doesn’t want it to be him or his people pointing the finger.
Ideally, legislators like Meadows, Jordan, Nunes, Goodlatte, etc. will continue to put pressure on the deep staters in the DOJ and FBI, until they realize they can’t cover it up forever, and release the documents. Perhaps the mere threat of the POTUS declassifying will be enough to make it happen. Perhaps there are white hats within the DOJ and FBI who are making headway unbeknownst to the public.
The impact of this scandal on the public will be minimized by the MSM, so Trump needs to do anything he can to give it more oomph. It seems to me that the more it appears to erupt naturally on its own steam, the better.
If Trump is seen to be the one pushing the narrative, it is weaker, because he can be accused of doing it for self serving motives. If it all blows up independant of Trump, because of new “discoveries”, it is a much more likely to “get legs”.

I think Trump has the upper hand. He’s the one moving in for the kill, and because he doesn’t do everything out in the open, and doesn’t act according to your expectations and on your timetable, you wrongly conclude nothing is being done.
It’s true, Queer anon has no clue what is happening, but neither do you or I. Building a case of this magnitude and complexity is a massive undertaking, and as with any police work, the public is kept in the dark. In a case involving widespread corruption in multiple counter intelligence agencies, the need for stealth and secrecy would be profound.
At this point in time, we simply do not have a reasonable basis for judging whether enough is being done to end the corruption and bring the guilty to justice.
You’ll just have to wait and see like the rest of us. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised at what a fine job Trump has been doing.
Yep— like the best “selling” of an idea is the self discovery of the idea by the listener... from 3rd party sources. This would provide the greatest number of “converts” to understanding the depths of the criminal democrats and corruption of their actions by their peeps inside the DOJ and FBI. A completely fabricated non-factual set of “evidence” to get a warrant to spy on US citizens-— they learn that the right way, and people will be outraged— relate it to them like a corrupt policeman planting drugs on a “target” to get them indicted. Regular folks get that notion.... cause it happens all the time.
Dossier and news articles to “COMPOSE” a FISA warrant?— people will get that....big time (Big League/Bigly).
