“President Trump is being advised by Intel advisers as well as his lawyer Emmet Flood NOT to declassify all pertinent documents”

That wouldn’t be surprising. Trump’s idiot lawyers and white house advisors have told him to let this mueller coup play out, too...not to fire sessions, etc.

It’s a fargin disaster. One man against a 4 trillion dollar irreparably corrupt stasi state.

Lots of tweeting and talking but still no release of the FISA docs.

He should give an address to the nation and outline the sedition that has clearly taken place — straight to the American people. They will support him.

NOTHING could be more important than this. Our democracy hangs in the balance.

+1

This is the only way our President has disappointed me. He has the power to wipe out these scum, but has held back and suffered greatly for it. Why?

“It’s been exposed”

Yep. A tweet reaches more people than a prime time address.

This is classic rope-a-dope. The counter attack will come later. I forsee a purge in the DOJ.

Easy question. His own party doesn’t support him and is using the Mueller coup to hamstring him/his agenda. Sorry, we don’t elect a king.

Why would they covered? They were the scoundrels that benefited from the leaks.

That’s right Mr. President, there was a conspiracy against you at the highest levels of government.

Play your Trump cards properly!

It’s been exposed.

***************

Actually it hasn’t. There is a lot more to this plot. Even the FISA docs won’t tell the whole story but it will go a long way toward filling in the mosaic. There was cross agency collusion and players that still need to be exposed, as well as foreign involvement. I also suspect we will eventually see the Obama White House directly implicated.

Not everything has been revealed. The full scope of it will surprise many people.

OK, but quibbling over words seems trivial in view of the damage this massive scandal is doing to our country and people’s faith in its democratic processes. Its like rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic. Words matter, but the ACTS of subversion and sedition and their consequences matter more.

The point is, there is a cabal and a plot that has, and still is to this moment, undermining a duly elected president who was chosen by a majority of the states. And there has been a breakdown of justice at the highest levels of law enforcement. Even worse, federal agencies and resources have been weaponized for political purposes. As far as words are concerned, some may call it treason.

“Another terrible mistake appears to be that President Trump is being advised by Intel advisers as well as his lawyer Emmet Flood NOT to declassify all pertinent documents—and he is apparently heeding their admonitions.”

In the end, it’s President Trump’s call no matter the process. If you think he’s not going to see their final approval, you don’t know the guy.

Trust me, this process has been underway since last month and this one doesn’t end before the MOAB of all declassifications goes down.

...Sorry, we don’t elect a king.

As much as that is true, in this instance the President has absolute power to declassify anything.

Now there are some checks on this power, but only after the fact. Impeachment might well result if a President disclosed real militarily important information or intelligence assets. In this instance the only reason for classification is to protect the guilty.

Fox and C-Span would carry it but no other network would do so and the papers the next day would then have articles about how the stupid Trump misunderstood the documents. The uninformed will stay uninformed.

Perhaps, but by that time, it will be too late to fix what has been ruined. Such a shame, such promise.

911 would have been my sentimental favorite timing, but the political reality of the mid-terms is that you drop your bombs in October.

The MSM let Reagan give speeches and they covered it.

Bush43 was the first where the media ignored his speeches and did not cover them, cutting off his voice.

Florence will dominate the news for the next week. Trump needs to be seen focused on that, not the Russian hoax.

He has time to reveal all before the election.
