A New Hampshire man was arrested Sunday after he allegedly tried to "buy" a young girl and attempted to kidnap her from her family in Massachusetts, police said.
Alfred Patterson, 20, of Raymond, approached a 13-year-old girl near Boston's Faneuil Hall just before 5 p.m., the Boston Police Department revealed in a news release.
Patterson offered the teen's parents cash to "buy" their daughter, before he allegedly "grabbed" the girl by the arm and tried to drag her away.
Police said the girl's father intervened, and Patterson ran from the scene. He was quickly located by police.

This guy sounds stone cold nuts. Who would even imagine that a parent would do this or that they could get away with it? Even sickos, crazy as they are, generally are still smart enough to try not to be obvious about their proclivities.
Yet another reason why the father should have permanently removed him from the gene pool.
He should have been immediately beaten for even making such a crack. But then again I might have told him “ take my wife, please”.
Boston does have a fair sized islamic community where such things are fairly common.
I think rather than racing after the guy I’d be inclined to stay with my wife and daughter and make sure they stay safe. I’d be concerned that his role was to lure me away from them while someone else swept in. But then again, I am thinking coldly rationally right now, in the moment I might have chased the guy to beat him to a pulp.
Perhaps he would drip from the scene ? Ooze from it ?

This guy is from Raymond, NH. That is about 75 north of Boston, about half way between Manchester and the Atlantic ocean.
Not a big Muslim community there. The only thing big in Raymond is the Walmart Distribution center. One of the largest (25 acres) buildings in New England. Look it up on Google maps.
Just watched the local New Hampshire news.The family is claiming that it was all a “prank” and the lawyer is claiming that the punk has mental issues.
