Sweden has been a socialist, atheistic country for decades with some of the highest euthanasia and suicide rates in the world. It’s sad it had to take this level of crisis to wake it up from its lull.
Sweden Democrats doubled their vote from 2014, becoming the country’s second biggest party.
But the Social Democrats scraped out in front enough to form either a minority government or a grand coalition with the establishment right.
I thought it was left vs center-right alliance?
The author was determined to say “far-right party wi.th white supremacist roots”, but failed to say “far-left with communists roots”
My guess is that the Sweden Democrats will outperform their exit polls, to the point that it might get the biggest share of the vote, given how close it is to the biggest party. Nobody wants to admit to voting for what the media have labeled the Nazi party.
Nobody will admit voting for the Sweden Democrat Party in the exit polls - “No, not me, I would never vote for them!” - but when the votes are counted, the results will be quite surprising.

The ‘far-right party with white extremist roots’ - is buoyed by Trump, imho. Probably just normal, Brexit-look-alikes taking a stand for their country. 26% to 20% is a pretty good showing for them. Well done, conservatives. Perhaps there is some Viking blood left. (The rest is here).
So basically Sweden is being run at the behest of just a handful of Swedes. Amazing.

Neither of the existing alliances can form a majority.
The Sweden Democrats will have to be let into the discussion.
It would be wise of the existing parties to do so since worsening conditions will be blamed on them and they will lose more votes in four years.
What’s happening to Europe (and us), is just macrocosm of what would happen if there were a famine -— if you’ve got anything to eat, you and your home will be invaded and attacked, to get at it. (Except, most of the current invaders aren’t forced to leave their country; they’re on jihad, to establish a world-wide califate -— and infidels don’t deserve to have anything, anyway, right? But basic human nature, infected by a demonic death cult is present).
So the Left will pretend to “moderate” some positions to placate “populsists”, but I imagine will not produce “moderating results” in the outcomes - immigration and refugees - that have cost them votes this time. In other words, the causes of their losses will continue as will the political battle against Sweden’s Left and its tryanny against the Swedes.
Hope the Swedes demonstrate a return to sanity and vote out the libs.
