The Washington Post keeps insisting that President Trump lies all the time. When it's the Bezos/Baron social justice tabloid that can't stop lying.

Tump suggests protesting should be illegal — Washington Post - Felicia Somnez

President Trump has long derided the mainstream media as the “enemy of the people” and lashed out at NFL players for kneeling during the national anthem. On Tuesday, he took his attacks on free speech one step further, Nope.

If I were in the fact checking business, this would be deemed highly misleading to extremely deceptive. The Washington Post is mischaracterizing an exchange from Trump's Daily Caller interview.

POTUS: “I’m amazed that people allow the interruption to continue. You know, there are some people that just keep screaming at the same people. In the old days we used to throw them out. Today I guess they just keep screaming. I thought Sen. Hatch was good because he was very indignant at the interruptions by a woman that was up there that just kept going on and on. I don’t know why they don’t, why they don’t take care of a situation like that because it’s terrible. I think it’s embarrassing for the country to allow protesters, you don’t even know which side the protesters were on. But to allow someone to stand up and scream from the top of their lungs and nobody does anything about it is frankly — I think it’s an embarrassment. I think, well it’s really early stages, but I think the Democrats are grasping at straws, that looks like to me. It’s incredible how bipartisan everything, when you look at how the opposite, I mean, when you look at how the level of division between the two sides, it’s sort of incredible.

These were not protests. They were paid Democrat operatives shouting, screaming and interrupting to disrupt a hearing to nominate a Supreme Court Justice.

President Trump was correct in his assessment.

The Washington Post is deliberately lying.

If I go to the lobby of the Washington Post and begin screaming, I wonder if they'll let me stay as long as I want? Or will they do as Trump was suggesting congress do and escort disruptive people out?

Remember that congressman who shouted "You lie!" to Obama nd we got weeks of commentary from media and pundits about the sanctity of congress and the need for civility?

The Washington Post is no defender of free speech. They are fully complicit with those trying to suppress it via mob intimidation.

Is it a violation of free speech or a ban on protesting if Grassley orders the Senate hearing room cleared of visitors?

Where are the boundaries? Congress has its own Constitutional rule-making authority which stands up against the people's right to petition the government for a redress of grievances. The people don't always get to choose the location of their petition, and the halls of the Senate shouldn't be one of them.

Yes, I “Remember that congressman who shouted “You lie!” to Obama and we got weeks of commentary from media and pundits about the sanctity of congress and the need for civility?”

Joe Wilson told the truth - Ophonybama WAS lying!

But then, Ophonybama is a LIEberal (among other things too distasteful to discuss in this forum)!

And, LIEberals LIE!

I sure do wish Joe had not apologized!
