Sen. Elizabeth Warren did herself no good in response to a question about the murder of Iowa college student Mollie Tibbetts, in which an undocumented immigrant has been charged.
The Massachusetts Democrat could have scored compassion and political points across the board, but instead shot herself in the foot.
Someone predisposed her to take her eye off the victim and focus on partisan politics someone who drilled a catchy phrase into her that turned a chance for compassion into embarrassment. Was it a political strategist, a well-compensated PR consultant or maybe an apparatchik from her office? He/she created the catchy three-word meme "mommas and babies," and then drilled it into Warren like Henry Higgins did to Liza Doolittle, to be sure Warren used that phrase a couple of times on CNN.
"MommasAndBabies" is a hashtag, on Twitter and Instagram, and also a Pinterest board. A quick Google check did not show the phrase uttered by the senator before the Aug. 23 interview.

“Someone predisposed her to take her eye off the victim and focus on partisan politics...”
Sadly the murdered girl’s family has been doing the exact same thing.
Is there a feminine term for DOUCHEBAG? If there is, Warren needs to be given that name and if there isn’t someone needs to make a feminine term for DOUCHEGAG.
Words matter. There is no such thing as an “undocumented immigrant”. All “immigrants” have a VISA issued by the State Department in their country of origin after (in most cases) thourough background checks.
Mollie was murdered by an ILLEGAL ALIEN.
If anyone should understand the overwhelming cultural and economic effects of unrestricted immigration it would be an American Indian... wait, Warren? Oh, never mind then.
The Iowa murder of a US citizen is just collateral damage to democrats when it gets in the way of their quest for a new class of voters. I certainly hope Massachusetts voters will see that when Pocahontas is up for reelection.
Someone “predisposed” her? What, she’s not in control of the words coming out of her mouth? Oh yeah, she’s presidential material./s
Did anyone hear Jeff Kuhner of Joe Pag's show the other night talking about this guy below?
If this candidate wins the Republican nomination on 09/04 and beats the one who checks the wrong box in November, her political career is toast, fenuto, bye-bye.
He claims he is up with Indy's by 14% and behind her by 2%.
This is the race to watch this fall Geoff Diehl vs Liz Warren..
I believe it's feckless c***. But there may be others.
Well there is her Indian name... Crazy Whores.
MA democrats wont let a little thing like Fouxcahantass lack of logic or lack of concern over real citizens vs illegal invaders keep them from voting for her. The majority in MA are like Pavlovs dogs when it comes to seeing the D on a candidate. They vote Democrat because theyre too stupid and too conditioned to think of the consequences. New Yorkers are even worse.

Boston magazine:
The Republican party, Ayyadurai says, has not supported him. After he launched his campaign, he says, No one even called me.
Ayyadurai says hes come to believe that the local branch of the party is run by racists, that his Republican opponents are con artists looking to advance their careers, and that the party plans to lose the race
ARSTechnica:
A federal judge in Massachusetts has dismissed a libel lawsuit filed earlier this year against tech news website Techdirt.
The claim was brought by Shiva Ayyadurai, who has controversially claimed that he invented e-mail in the late 1970s. Techdirt (and its founder and CEO, Mike Masnick) has been a longtime critic of Ayyadurai and institutions that have bought into his claims. “How The Guy Who Didn’t Invent Email Got Memorialized In The Press & The Smithsonian As The Inventor Of Email,” reads one Techdirt headline from 2012.
One of Techdirt’s commenters dubbed Ayyadurai a “liar” and a “charlatan,” which partially fueled Ayyadurai’s January 2017 libel lawsuit.
