A group of Catholics in Atlanta, Georgia, has launched a petition demanding that Archbishop Wilton Gregory “remove priests who promote the LGBT agenda from public ministry,” and who continue what many priests and bishops say is a “homosexual culture” within the Church that is at the root of the lies and cover-up of the sexual abuse scandal.
Concerned Catholics of Atlanta’s petition at change.org invites signers to also demand Gregory “stop supporting parishes who openly endorse LGBT lifestyles, activities and behaviors that are contrary to Church teaching, and to stop ‘looking the other way’ from evil in our Archdiocese.”
In a letter released to the media Monday, Concerned Catholics writes:
As recent events in our Church have demonstrated, Catholics everywhere are outraged by how these issues have been addressed by Church leadership at all levels. The devastation that results when the Church’s moral teaching is not clearly and courageously proclaimed and lived is making itself manifest around the world, including within this Archdiocese.
At the time of publication, the petition had nearly 1,100 signatures with a goal of 1,500.

Don’t they mean “promoted to Monsignor and Bishop” because that’s more likely to happen than what they’re calling for.
Remove the G, B and T ones. There shouldn’t be any L ones.
There are no LGBT ones. No one is LGBT.
There are no “L” priests.
There are, though, priests who encourage the “L” portion of the population to embrace their sin.
Certainly not in the Catholic Church ...
I’m not a Catholic. But this should have been nipped in the bud. Any type of sexual deviancy has no place in the Catholic church. Or any church for that matter.
God is not mocked.
Unfortunately for we Catholics in Atlanta, Archbishop Wilton Gregory is a card carrying member of the lavender mafia.

Looks like it was flagged as “hate speech” by change.org, so it stopped taking signatures on the petition.
The bible is very clear about priests.
It's a demonstration of how far the church has fallen to think they even countenance these sick people wearing the collar.
But what is worse is that the parishioners should have to ask the church to take action.
They have lost their vision and forgotten their mission
The Bible is very clear about sodomites.
“If thy right hand offend thee, cut it off”. If pro-LGBT priests are operating in the heart of the church, so is the devil.
Always good to ask if they believe in chastity for all. (Chastity means acting with sexual virtue appropriate to your state in life. Single=abstinent. Married=one man, one woman, faithful/fruitful/permanent until death.)
Interesting, especially in light of the recent focus on the thousands of children sexually violated by clergy. Most were boys, something around 90% were boys, and all of the perpetrators of the boys were homosexual clergy - priests.
The elephant in the room is that the homosexual community has infested the RC clergy. It is a huge number. But our modern society is protecting the gay lifestyle. If you say a word about them, you are publicly labelled homophobic. And when that happens public figures such as politicians, government people at any level, owners of a successful businesses, etc. have their careers ruined.
If Gregory is indeed a member of the lavender mafia, that would explain why he appointed that liberal/gay affirming priest to the position. It was an ‘in your face’ appointment. ‘I’ll do whatever I want to do, and no one can tell me anything else.!”
