Exactly. I worked in a kitchen, and we called it the "mexican union". They would be passive aggressive to the "anglos" (subtle ways to set them up for failure,,,, way slow to help, pretend thy didn't know something etc) until the anglos got pissed and quit. Then they had a buddy ready to jump into the spot. Once they were half the staff, they marched into the boss and demanded a huge raise, or they would all leave today.
Of course they got it. When it came time for my raise I was offered 7 cents. I told him if a 19 year old kid, who didn't know the difference between an onion, scallion and shallot was earning several dollars an hour more than me, he could let him run the kitchen.
I won't eat at places with mexican majority kitchen staff, and no one does anything in my home unless they speak English only. I'm done having people pretend they don't speak English. (I know they do.... I am fluent in Spanish and never let them know I understood)
I hate Mexicans. I say that unabashedly. In fact I say it with pride. I din’t break into their country, they broke into mine. I don’t respect a nation and a people who do not respect my country and my people. I can’t remember when any generation of Mexicans went out and saved the world. To me they’re nothing but arrogant beggars. I do speak Spanish and when I was or have the misfortune to be around Mexicans I let enough of it out to let them know. I always tend to bark it at them and be macho. Let’s them know right up front I’m not going to take any bs. I learned that along time ago working in a labor union in NYC.

So now they are using the cockroach tactic for revenge.
Its GD Zachary Taylor and General Winfred Scott who are to blame! Scott had defeated the Mexican army in September 1847 and was occupying Mexico City. But he pulled out and left it to to the Mexicans. Should have stayed there, made the place part of the US and we wouldn’t be having this trouble today!
