“Anyone appointed to succeed McCain will have to run in 2020 to fill out the rest of his term which ends in 2022. Thats 3 elections. I say give it to McSally win or lose next Tuesday. Make her work for it. Well be able to can her if she goes RINO. She supposedly represents our best chance of keeping the seat this year. If McSally wins next week it will mean 2 failed primaries for Ward. That would disqualify her. Theres the Newsmax guy who took on McLame in 2010.”
McSally has shifted her target to the Democrat candidate, probably because of internal polls having her winning the August 28 primary (I voted for Ward).
I talked to Ken Bennett, Doug Ducey’s rival in the primary. The first name he mentioned for John McCain’s seat was Andy Biggs. He said that Cindy McCain hired Ducey for his first job, the reason why her name keeps being mentioned.
“I voted for Kelli and I hope she wins.”
Likewise. Three votes for Kelli from my household.
Arizona used to be conservative as Democrats. Goldwater era changed that, but conservative he was not. He was a libertine and therefore a fraud. The Phoenix Forty, Goldwaterites controlled the state for decades, but as the state grew with people from the Northeast and Mexicans and Californians we turned purple because libertines and liberals align and true conservatives have dwindled and CANNOT produce viable true conservative candidates. Ward is good, but running a loser campaign. McSally a lying Rino who can't beat loony leftist Democrat Krysten Sinema. Arpaio a spoiler.
CD2 is Blue. Tucson ,Nogales, Border population is Democrat with the exception sometimes of Sierra Vista.
The Republican candidates for Mc Sally's seat limp. Leah Marquez Peterson is a career opportunist, head of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce with the loyalties to the Hispanics and policies of a chamber of commerce which have brought in hordes of foreigners to ruin America.
Marquez Peterson is front runner because her competition is weak. Two upstarts with little or no political experience with Brandon Martin being the only possible true Conservative.
Any way. Do not hope for too much from Arizona. Hope and pray I am wrong
