Now just a cotton pickin’ minit here. Let’s be fair. The press has a tendency to ask insensitive questions of Ocasio, such as “how will you pay for this?” and “aren’t you worried about economic impact?” They mean no harm, but their insensitivity causes great harm. If they would only take an oath of loyalty, and read the list of proscribed questions, they would not be barred from events such as this one. But one journalist, when reading the list and the text of the oath was drinking orange juice and it spouted all over the sheet we gave him, ruining it. We’re just trying to keep down printing costs (see? We are so cost conscious!), and we had to print out a brand new sheet, and our printer’s on the fritz because it was manufactured by a major corporation and started malfunctioning just because someone spilled a coke on it, also made by a major corporation. So it’s all the fault of evil corporations that we couldn’t allow any uninformed, unsworn journalists into the meeting, NOT BECAUSE OF CENSORSHIP, YOU FASCIST PIGS!
