Never upset the chef!! Another place I worked was buffett style. When it was Maria’s turn to make the potato salad, watch out. She would but all the ingredient’s in an industrial size garbage can and put her potato salad mixing tennis shoes on and jump into the garbage can to do her dance to mix the ingredients.
Employee’s got to eat for free so it was common to ask who made the potato salad. Maria would Hotsy her tennis shoes and let dry for her next turn.
Oh yeah, I make sure I SEE who made the employee meals before I dig in. I only worked at that place on-call for 2 years before I quit. I tell everyone, if you return a meal to have it altered, heated etc, it’s more than 50/50 you will get “extra” in it.
Somebody should of called the health dept.
I must of worked at classy places with classy people not the likes of people who would not stand up and say something to stop something like that.
