A good explanation of how Democrats act when they don't get their way.

When you stop accepting election results, you have a countdown to a civil war.

The best article I have seen anywhere that explains what is about to happen if folks don't return to the values that established this country. All hell is about to break loose.

Looks like it may be based on a Daniel Greenfield talk.

Again, you’ve got to have the first “civil war” before you can have the second one. Technically a civil war involves an attempt to take over the government. The South never attempted that. It attempted to act on the belief that their states were sovereign and had every right to form their own union or confederacy. At no time did they attempt to take over the existing government.

Words are supposed to have meaning. The historians from the side that won the War Between the States termed Civil War because they don’t want people to remember or to know the truth. That it wasn’t a “civil war.””

More on this theme from Daniel Greenfield.

THE CIVIL WAR IS HERE
The left doesn’t want to secede. It wants to rule.

That this was written by Jack Minzey is questionable.

Just like the war between Islam and Western Civilization.

Well said. America has never had a civil war...yet.

In a relationship between world views, it has to do with whether failure to meet expectations are piling up and whether grievances are piling up. If they pile up enough to exceed a threshold, then some form of separation is likely.

There's going to be many, many scores to settle when this thing blows. I will go down fighting to the last breadth and hopefully live to see the Clintons, hanging like Mussolini or even better see them get the Nicolae Ceaușescu treatment. No one wins in a full blown civil war. Look at Syria. The USA will be a dead empire and the rest of the world will be trying to pick up the pieces since they will go down too.

“Again, you’ve got to have the first “civil war” before you can have the second one. Technically a civil war involves an attempt to take over the government.”

This.

Thank you for explaining it accurately and succinctly.

You explanation also covers why the breakaway of the colonies from England is not generally referred to as a “civil war.”

Blah Blah Blah on this thread about who wrote it, what’s a civil war, de dah de dah

There are two immense points and I don’t care if Sultan Knish or some Minzey guy said it:

“Who decides who runs the country?” — clearly the bureaucrats, and especially those in the police agencies, have revealed themselves as the new nobility, declaring that it’s THEIR country, elections be damned. Cuz they got the guns, and the little people only have pea shooters.

“Professional government is a guild. Like medieval guilds. You can’t serve in it if you’re not a member” — That’s it in a nutshell. These guys have re-built a Communist State within what was supposed to be a representative government of Free People. It’s clear that their abuse of power is massive and now they don’t care, they think they have a right to bring down an elected President on phony charges.

I said that on this forum back when the Special Counsel was cooked up. This is a coordinated hit by the Intel and Police agencies, and it’s illegal. They are playing the highest stakes game in history and they need to all go down - they are no different then John Wilkes Booth and his co-conspirators.

War has been declared by one side, but the other won’t acknowledge....

I agree.

Every day, in every way they can, they fight us - out in the open, or underhanded via their lies in the media. Consequently, liberal teachers no longer teach - they indoctrinate. Liberal judges no longer uphold the law - they declare their own ideology AS the law and demand it be acknowledged and followed. The liberal media no longer reports the news - it’s gone beyond slanting the news and now just makes things up to try and destroy us. Liberal “protestors” are no longer protesting - they’re rioting. Try to beat someone’s head in with a bike lock? No problem. You’re on the politically correct side, and you won’t suffer any consequences. The liberals who run social media declare anything that disagrees with them “hate,” and are perfectly okay with banning it. Same with universities. Wear a “Make America Great Again!” hat and you’re going to be no different to them than if you walked around in KKK robes or a Nazi uniform - no, actually, they think you’re worse than that.

So, yeah, the Civil War has, in effect, started. Does any reasonable person think the left is EVER going to see the error of their ways and suddenly begin acting like responsible citizens again? I sure don’t. And, given that, it’s inevitable that our country either breaks apart at some point, or things get violent. I’m not saying I want either of those things - I just don’t see all of this leading any other way.

“..A good explanation of how Democrats act when they don’t get their way....”

And they act the way they do BECAUSE THE REPUBLICANS/CONSERVATIVES let them get away with it. No accountability — no law!!!

It wasn’t. It was spoken by Daniel Greenfield at a Tea Party Convention in January 2018.
