More than 300 newspapers joined the Big Cry in publishing self-righteous editorials to justify their ideological disposition and take yet another shot at The Donald: Trump is Bad. We are not “Enemies of The People.”
But after the foot-stomping tantrum, nothing much happened. Americans woke up Friday to the same great country — and the same awful media — as they did Thursday.
Globe Leads the Charge
The leader of the gang was The Boston Globe, the liberal media’s Mrs. Grundy, which opened with what logicians call the straw man: arguing against a point no one made: A central pillar of President Trump’s politics is a sustained assault on the free press. Journalists are not classified as fellow Americans, but rather “the enemy of the people.” This relentless assault on the free press has dangerous consequences.
Replacing a free media with a state-run media has always been a first order of business for any corrupt regime taking over a country. Today in the United States we have a president who has created a mantra that members of the media who do not blatantly support the policies of the current US administration are the “enemy of the people.” This is one of the many lies that have been thrown out by this president, much like an old-time charlatan threw out “magic” dust or water on a hopeful crowd.
One might ask what the media would call the daily, relentless attack on this president if not a “sustained assault,” and why he should not fight back. But more importantly, the president has neither called for “replacing a free media with a state-run media” nor demanded that the media “blatantly support” his policies. Perhaps those are two small examples of “fake news” he decries.

I would crawl over broken glass to vote against these vermin, and I bet a lot of us would as well. They’re not the only ones who are “motivated.” We have to sit here day after day after day seeing criminals not only walk free but NEVER brought to justice, a “justice” department more concerned with covering up the seditious activity of their own people, and a Congress more concerned about passing laws declaring that the enemy media isn’t really the enemy media after all, but a great bunch of folks we should all value.
Oh, yeah. I’m motivated to vote, all right.
I do believe there have been coordinated attacks on the free press. Mostly through ownership acquitions of the press.
There is no way this much MSM is THAT biased by accident.
There should be an investigation. Foreigners should not be allowed to own American Press. Antitrust legislation that was to prevent outsized control of the press needs to be enforced.

Even though they may be born here, they are NOT Americans.....they’re communists. And that is why they have that blind hatred for real Americans....war’s coming.

And if you told me back then that one day I would develop a reverence for Donald Trump that would rival (and even surpass) that I had for Ronald Reagan, I would have said that you are crazy. And yet that is what has happened.
The century is not even a fifth over, but Trump is, at least to this point, the Man of the Century. He has already eclipsed his two predecessors. He drives every narrative. Every election is connected to Trump. Every economic statistic. Every poll. He is in the Business Section, the Sports Section, the Entertainment Section, and the Front Page. Attacks on him are relentless. Responses from him are dissected in microscopic scale.
He is the Elephant in the Room, the 800 lb Gorilla, and the Bogeyman under the bed. No one has ever been like Donald Trump.

Thanks detective. As the expression went in Roman law, "silence implies consent". #1, we don't have to worry about that with our President, and #2, the rest of the media is obviously on the side of the tantrum, or at least I have yet to see any mainstream op-eds condemning it.

I was reading an article that said the only reason these jugheads pulled this stunt was in hopes of picking up a few subscribers. They see all the other far left nut cases out there “writing books” and making the big bucks trashing the President of the United States. The fish wrap boys and girls are just wanting to get in on a little of the action.
