With that one sentence he killed his political career. That would be in every ad and played non-stop by his opponent

This guy should run for President.

Cuomo obviously wants to. Of course, if he runs now, Trump will hang this sound byte around his neck like an albatross.

I totally agree that he killed his chances of being POTUS. But he’ll still get re-elected as NY Governor as many times as he wants. Like his father, he’ll never progress beyond that.

Also, its not just what he said, but how he said that. He used that dismissive, condescending NY accent.

“we are not going back to the “good old days” – our people didn’t do well, we fight 4 our rights & fight racism,””

Do these idiots not realize that this “response” is a total non-sequitur?

Any clown who lives off the taxpayer dime in the governor’s mansion all of his life can’t really be expected to know if America is great or not. He has never been forced to deal with reality. He’s just a little prince who lives in a bubble.

His city isn’t called the Rotten Apple for nothing. LOL

FYI: Cuomo is governor of the entire (tongue firmly in cheek) 'Empire State' of New York! Lots of people upstate don't like his New York City attitudes and behavior but NYC is the tail that wags the state.

Cuomo should choke on his ungrateful, lies. He needs a sphincter on his mouth

Yeah, right. Tell that to these people:

There were 12.1 million immigrants living in the country illegally as of January 2014, according to the most recent estimate from the Department of Homeland Security. The estimates from two independent groups are similar: The Pew Research Center estimates the number at 11.1 million in 2014, and the Center for Migration Studies says there were 11 million people in 2015 living in the U.S. illegally.

For the legal folks, the United States has been the top destination for international migrants since at least 1960, with one-fifth of the world’s migrants living here as of 2017 with nearly 44 million immigrants living in the United States in 2016.

If this ain’t the best thing going, then why is the world literally dying to get here? We have problems. But until someone is willing to sit down and talk about them without the open hostility and threats, nothing will change. And Rome wasn’t built in a day.

“Upstate Democratic Congressman Paul Tonko claimed ignorance. “I haven’t heard about it,” Tonko told Albany’s WNYT TV.”

Hilarious.
