Democrats on Thursday distanced themselves from Gov. Cuomo’s eye-popping remark that America “was never that great.”
City Council Speaker Corey Johnson called the comment “inartful” and “clumsy.”
“We are a great country and a great city — we could even be greater,” Johnson said in an interview on WNYC radio.
Upstate Democratic Congressman Paul Tonko claimed ignorance.
“I haven’t heard about it,” Tonko told Albany’s WNYT TV.

He wasn’t just repeating what Obama believes. He was repeating what NYC residents by in large believe. If New York needed an enema they would stick the tube in NYC.

The commie dog Cuomo and his kind have been working for generations to bring this country to its knees and now trying to behead it by attempting to take Trump out. This country was good when God made it. It was good when our forefathers formed the government under God. It was good when we changed bad behavior for God’s sake.
