Methinks that it wasn’t the “military” that decided to postpone the parade.

Methinks (me thinks a lot) that it was Trump who told the military to postpone the parade.

That eliminates any ammunition (pun intended) from the democrats potential use of the parade as weapon (pun intended again) against republicans this November. Trump will get it going in 2019, as stated.

But then again, we don’t need any stinking parade, so scrap it altogether. I think the whole world, including our enemies, already understand that we have the biggest and deadliest military around, so, no need for shows to tell them.

It’s the 100 anniversary of the end of WWI. It was the war that turned the United States into a world power. What you really should b outraged over is that this is a milatary that is supposed to deploy anywhere; anytime, but it takes them a year to think about deploying a parade? How hard is a parade.

I am actually against the parade for fiscal reasons. A debtor nation should be very careful in how it spends its money.

But a parade marking the 100th anniversary of the end of WW I somehow seems appropriate. Nothing flashy. I’d ask every Allied nation in that war to send a small military contingent to march.

Perhaps the parade could start at some appropriate place, and end at Arlington National Cemetery.
