Enough is Enough: FBI must purge its ranks
The Boston Herald ^ | 08-14-2018 | Herald Staff

The news that the FBI fired Peter Strzok broke yesterday, and with that we can begin to see big-picture truth take shape about the bureau’s role in the Hillary Clinton investigation as well as the Russia investigation.

It does not look good for the leadership at the FBI. 2016 did not bring out the best in them.

Director James Comey was fired, as was Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, and now Strzok, an FBI senior counterintelligence agent, has been terminated after being demoted earlier. He was a lead investigator on the probe into Clinton’s email server in 2016 before moving on to Mueller’s team.

FBI agents need to keep their politics and biases out of their day-to-day behavior and certainly away from their workflow. The infractions that have continually come to light since the election of Donald Trump have served to degrade the public’s trust in the nation’s leading law enforcement agency and may have seriously impeded the duly elected president of the United States in performing his duties as described in the Constitution.

We can begin rebuilding the credibility of the FBI as soon as those who’ve acted deleteriously have been removed.

Polygraph everyone in the FBI and State Department. Before doing it, offer everyone the opportunity to resign gracefully with no action to be taken against them. The only price to pay is they will never work in government again.

The ones that stick around and who fail the polygraph will be fired and if found to be part of the deep state can be indicted on charges of sedition.

The top 3 levels of the FBI will be fully purged and people who passed the polygraph promoted.

End it. Give the counter-intel mission to the DOD and/or DHS and the crime lab/investigation mission to the US Marshals.

Kill it.

35,000 employees, a budget of almost 9 billion they deign to tell us about. It was probably too late 50+ years ago to do anything about groups like the FBI, just can’t see anything changing at this point.

Search for the public campaign contributions of DoJ, FBI, and other alphabet agencies. Supposedly DoJ employees sent their contributions to Clinton by 97% in 2016, if I recall.

This is Mueller and Comey's "proud" legacy, totally politicizing the FBI and bringing it's credibility to ZERO. Honestly, this taints the Mueller folly and ending that is also a must in exorcising this disaster in our county's history.

Exactly. That’s how it’s done with a company takeover. All employees have to reapply for their jobs.

Let’s not forget to go back into recent history where in Agent Hannson, supervisor in counter intel at the FBI, was a paid Ruskie agent. He was a spy for like 25 years. Then the matter of the handler of Whitey Buglar who was protected by FBI managers for many years. This has become a rogue organization.

Remember how sanctimonious Comey was in front of congress. He walked in there and said he and his staff were indisputable. They do everything by the book, and never put their thumbs on the scale. Then we find out that everyone in the FBI management really felt that they were in charge of the US government. And those people who are elected into office are short term goofballs that do more damage than good. In Comey’s eyes, its the long term government employees who are really running things.
