Former FBI agents say the text messages are not the only reason Strzok was fired
(Snip)
Strzok was under oath before Congress and he made statements that appeared to be false and refused to answer some questions, but he was going to get just a slap on the wrist, said a former supervisory special agent from OPR adjudication, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to the nature of their work. There is absolutely no wiggle room when it comes to lack of candor in the FBI
unless youre an SES (Senior Executive Service). Strzoks firing went well beyond texting about Trump. Strzok would have also been involved in the handling of the FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) application to the FISC (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court)
The agent noted that Strzok was well aware that he was lying by deception when they did not include the information on who paid for the dossier and (that) Bruce Ohr was back-channeling information for a discredited source.

Maybe that’s why Trump called her “the lovely Lisa Page”.
Right. I heard Rudy say that. Rudy told how Brennan had the phony dossier created, and then shopped it around to Harry Reid and other Rats, and then to two GOPs. He didn’t mention McCain’s name, but ... basically, Brennan is “ground zero”.
Rudy’s been very bold lately. I hope he isn’t suicided by PIAPS, et al.
Let’s see Mr FBI Agent. We are looking at how many years in prison? 300 maybe? Now lets sit down and do some serious talking in front of the Grand Jury.
Terrifying that the SES is totally allowed to lie.
WTF???
Candice Will is a new name to me but another link in how these people keep getting away with every criminal thing they do. It’s apparent that they have people in place to cover up everything throughout the whole government.

Good question I think? Being twice demoted leads one to believe he is not without sin.
I recall reading over the weekend that Goodlatte's committee has subpoenaed him along with Nelly Orr and Glenn Simpson. Should make for some interesting questioning.....Louie Gohmert, Steve King, Matt Gaetz, Jim Jordan, DeSantis, Ratcliff have been known to stir things up a bit. They made Stzrok show his true colors.
“So, is the game afoot now? “
They are going to squeeze Ohr, who will give up everyone. With his wife at Fusion, and Ohr as the middleman, they will both be looking at very long sentences when the indictments start to flow. Giving these two full immunity to rid the country once and for all of the swamp monsters will be well worth it.
maybe we need to fire Wray and put Bowditch in as FBI Director
A more optimistic view is that the Deputy Director actually overroad the head of the OPR — presumably with the support of Sessions and Wray. Ms OPR is definitely part of the problem and must go soon.
It’s over, wrap this damn thing up.
Yup. Just like a lot of people on the left say that they believe in the Second Amendment. Oh yeah, they mean the one which says the federal government cannot disarm the (federally controlled) state national guard.
I pray every night for any criminals in our Government to be prosecuted, held accountable for their criminal acts, and then punished to the fullest extent of the law.
His affair alone with the Lovely Lisa Page was enough to get him fired.
Why did it take them so long to actually fire him?
The personnel recommendation was a lark, but you have to remember that was the department he had been demoted to, so one can assume he spent the last year convincing his fellows that he was really the good guy.
Strzok should have been put on administrative leave months ago.
He probably would have preferred administrative leave rather than having his security clearance taken away and being banished to HR these past several months. I would guess that he was given few or no assignments in the Human Resources office.
I don’t think Sessions and Wray had any involvement in Strzok’s termination. They had no interest in being involved in this process. Nothing good for them would have come from their involvement.
They did not need to be directly involved. All they had to do was agree to the actions that FBI Deputy Director David Bowdich was planning on. There fingerprints would never be on the action. But Bowdich would never have done it if he thought it was against what either of them wanted.
