Trump heightens attacks on Sessions: He's 'scared stiff and missing in action'
The Hill ^ | 08/11/18 | Tal Axelrod

President Trump ratcheted up his attacks on Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Saturday, tweeting that Sessions was "scared stiff" and "Missing in Action" in defending him amid special counsel Robert Mueller's probe into possible ties between the Trump campaign and Russia.

Trump slammed Christopher Steele, the former British intelligence officer at the center of the Trump dossier scandal, and the Department of Justice (DOJ) and once again slammed Mueller's investigation as a "witch hunt."

"The big story that the Fake News Media refuses to report is lowlife Christopher Steele’s many meetings with Deputy A.G. Bruce Ohr and his beautiful wife, Nelly. It was Fusion GPS that hired Steele to write the phony & discredited Dossier, paid for by Crooked Hillary & the DNC," Trump tweeted.

"Do you believe Nelly worked for Fusion and her husband STILL WORKS FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF 'JUSTICE.' I have never seen anything so Rigged in my life. Our A.G. is scared stiff and Missing in Action. It is all starting to be revealed - not pretty. IG Report soon? Witch Hunt!" he wrote.

Trump’s attack on Saturday was likely prompted by murmurings that the Republican chairman of the House Judiciary Committee is readying subpoenas for people connected to the controversial Steele dossier.

Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) is reportedly preparing subpoenas for DOJ official Bruce Ohr, his wife, Nellie Ohr, and Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson, sources told The Hill this week.

Bruce Ohr is facing scrutiny from Republicans for his contacts with Simpson and Steele during the presidential campaign, the news of which prompted Trump allies to demand a special counsel investigation into the DOJ and FBI in December.

Simpson hired Steele to help produce the dossier that made a series of salacious allegations about Trump's connections with Russia.

Nellie Ohr worked for Fusion GPS during the presidential campaign — a fact that Republicans have promoted as a possible link between the DOJ and the opposition research firm.

Trump has gone after Sessions for the Russia probe before, saying earlier this month that the attorney general should stop the investigation "right now."

"Attorney General Jeff Sessions should stop this Rigged Witch Hunt right now, before it continues to stain our country any further," Trump tweeted on Aug. 1.

Trump is also known to harbor hostility toward Sessions for recusing himself in the investigation.

“The Russian Witch Hunt Hoax continues, all because Jeff Sessions didn’t tell me he was going to recuse himself...I would have quickly picked someone else. So much time and money wasted, so many lives ruined...and Sessions knew better than most that there was No Collusion!” the president tweeted in June.

“These public attacks on sessions by trump indicate a failure of leadership and management responsibility on trumps part.”

No it doesn’t. It just shows how corrupt the swamp is...Sessions is a RAT BASTARD and the GOP have his back. Not Trump’s.

Sessions farked us...Farked Trump and farked the country. He will go down in post American history as the biggest rat bastard traitor there ever was.

People still do not understand Trump nor Sessions for that matter, let alone their relationship. Not to mention when Trump throws the media his laser kitty light beam.

“I believe that it’s possible that Sessions is playing Possum.”

Agreed. Suffering the slings and arrows of the clueless and impatient is worth it to make history.

Writing is on the wall now. The only people who don’t see it are the DNC Media fools, their brethren and a bunch of our FRiends here who think complex prosecutions are completed in a month or so because they want it.

Meanwhile, President Trump heightens the trolling to Master Troll Master levels.
Yet, they don’t see any of it. Trust me, John Brennan among others sees it.

Stern warning by RINOs? :-) OK.

I think Trump could remove Sessions if he wished and get a replacement confirmed. That’s probably not a show-stopper. We don’t have all the facts but the idea that Trump likes to demonstrate that there is an independent AG seems reasonable.

Go with what you want to believe.....I prefer observing Trump play is hand. It’s wise to discern when he’s throwing out bait.

"The only question is, is Sessions just boinking the housekeeper or are there pictures of a naked boy in his bed?"

Yeah.... It's now obvious that Attorney General Jeff Sessions has been total compromised… Hillary's got the goods on him..

Just declassify everything and release it to the Public, GAME OVER!!!

****************

Devin Nunes and Newt Gingrich have PLEADED with the president to do exactly that. Lou Dobbs and Chris Farrell (Judicial Watch) have also repeatedly encouraged Trump to do it.

Listen. The President is in charge of the DOJ and he is protecting Sessions.

Do you think having Sessions in the middle of this gets his agenda done?

Raise your IQ 20 points and see what is happening. The President needs Sessions to ride this so he can continue with immigration policy.

What is being shown is Mueller as head of FBI and Rosenstein as #2 at DOJ trying to mire this admin down. Without Sessions it is impossible. (Jury still out on Rosenstein with me).

We even have the CIA involved with various players in DC that will have to testify.

The President said we must “Drain the Swamp”. He is keeping AG Sessions out of it.

BTW, The President can fire anyone in the executive. Do you think AG Sessions doing it is any different than the President ordering it?

The President has provided quite a wrinkle to those sheets.

He is not immobile. He cannot be called to testify on a damn thing and is taking care of the Presidents promises.

Is he now?

Aside from a bunch of bluster and a few well publicized busts at chicken plucking factories, Jeff Sessions has done next to nothing to put a dent in the numbers of illegals in this country.

I think the Dallas Texas region now has more illegals than when Zero was in office. Matter of fact, my business is off by 30% from last year, due to the overwhelm of illegals in my industry.

Perhaps you defend Sessions because of feel good PR bullshit you read in the news, and because illegals aren't stealing food off your table. I live with this crap in the real world, and I'm telling you - Sessions isn't getting squat done, where it comes to illegals.

I don't believe the "thousands of sealed indictments" story. Unless Sessions and Huber are typing them the old fashioned way after hours they would have leaked in DC. Republicans can't keep a secret about what they are having for dinner without someone, somewhere leaking it to the press.

Senator Grassley went to the mat for President Trump to get Sessions confirmed. He along with McTurtle were the ones I believe who stated there wouldn't be another AG confirmed. Together they have been instrumental in getting judges through the pipeline for PDJT and that might be a big factor why Our President is reluctant to fire the dirt bag.

Sessions was just about the only senator who came out supporting DJT during the lead-up to his nomination and worked hard for his election. Trump is probably hesitant to fire him for any of the above reasons, but it would be music to his ears to hear that Sessions had resigned.

At some point during or after the election Sessions got the message that he would regret ever resigning as AG for ...whatever reason. Willingly or otherwise, Jeff Sessions has become a vital part of the conspiracy to either hamstring or better yet, unseat our President.

A pro active attorney general would have been an enormous asset in draining the swamp or at least prosecuting many of the criminal factions in the bureaucracy. The Left is not attacking Jeff Sessions except in regard to the few moves he is making on illegal aliens. For the most part they have ignored him over the past 18 months and that speaks volumes to me.

Word to the wise ... if you took Donald Trump at his word, then Bowe Bergdahl would have been dropped from an airplane at 30,000 feet without a parachute by now. I’m just sayin’ ...

“The President is in charge of the DOJ and he is protecting Sessions.”

Mueller and Rosenstein don’t think so...Come to think of it, neither does goober magoo. They think the DOJ is a 4th branch of gubbermint. An independent branch accountable to no one.

In case you haven’t been paying attention, rabid lefties(Anyone that voted for Hillary rotten Clinton) are in firm control of our irreparably corrupt fed govt(stasi state). They are in open rebellion to Trump. They are all in #resist & #sabotage mode.
