Ocasio-Cortez was campaigning for Hawaii Democratic congressional candidate Kaniela Ing ahead of this weekend’s primary election and argued that Hawaii felt like a “kindred home” because she also comes “from a place of colonized people.”
Ocasio-Cortez said that she and Ing had similar life experiences even though they grew up worlds apart because they both lost their fathers when they were young and had to work multiple jobs to help their families make ends meet. And, she added, “We come from a family and a place that had been colonized.”
She told the crowd that her mother was from Puerto Rico and many of her family members still live there before claiming that she and Ing were “shaped by the exact same forces” like “runaway income inequality, an unaddressed history of imperialism, and poverty.”
She added that Puerto Ricans and Hawaiians still have to deal “with the consequences of those struggles.”
“While the entire country wants to forget that history, we’re not allowed to,” she said. “We are not afforded the privilege to forget about the colonial history of our island, and neither is Hawaii.”
Ocasio-Cortez has been campaigning for likeminded candidates across the country to build a bench of left-wing Democratic-socialist candidates. She implied on CNN earlier in the week that even though some of her candidates, like Michigan gubernatorial candidate Abdul El-Sayed, lost to establishment Democrats earlier in the week, they beat the spread and helped “move the needle forward in the fight for social and economic dignity in the United States.”

I’m always amazed by Hillary and her minions. In that, she was supposedly the smartest woman in the world. She had the best brightest liberal whiz kids to run her campaign. Many of them hoped Trump would be the Republican nominee because he would be the easiest to defeat. It was supposed to be a slam dunk, for her to campaign against and defeat Trump.
And yet, somehow, Trump defeated her.
Did Hillary and her people run a bad campaign? Was she that bad a candidate?
What happened?

Someone needs to get her talking more about Puerto Rico. Bet she'll side with their New York terrorists, likely support independence of Puerto Rico. The first might bother Americans, the latter no so much. But she's wrapping herself in so much, clinging to everything--everything that is 180 degrees opposite of America. Her how makeup is a lie, her grievances are 2nd hand, she's just an unemployed college graduate that didn't learn enough in school to get a job in her field of study, so she went to work as a bartender, now thinks she's qualified to be in Congress. Okay, probably not as dumb as Maxine, but still.

She thinks you have to balance the costs of her healthcare ideas, against the cost savings of funerals, since so many people will not have funerals due to getting life saving healthcare.

I really wonder whether Hillary’s campaign actually wanted Trump to be the candidate. Just wondering out loud. Frankly I think Trump’s success just completely came out of left field for them, they were counting on a walk over over a Jeb, or a Kasich, or a Rubio, or any number of other weak Republican candidates. I think Trump scrambled their brains so thoroughly that they never recovered.
There are no poor White people anywhere.
