I’m told you have to be a millionaire to live there. Those didn’t look like rich people. Also, they’ve gotten completely away from the “Dirty Harry” and “Streets of San Francisco” look with their police department, haven’t they? Chief Moose and some grandmother.

This is a district that you could have gone into, with reasonable cash, in the 1970s/1980s, and been a middle-class home owner. If you stuck around to today, the home is worth over a million each. They are standing there and paying a heck of a lot on property taxes....which funnels its way into the police force. They expect real cops, and safe streets for what they pay, and the city basically can’t deliver.
I would suggest that the cops are stuck with a legal system that is hinged against them....prosecutors aren’t eager to really go after people, and judges have a marginal amount of enthusiasm for their job.
The solution here is a simple-worded vagrant law. Once you demonstrate you are a problem....cops bring you to a vagrant court, with a special vagrant judge, and you get one single warning....clean up your act or get banned from the city. On the second police action....route the guy quickly through to the judge...get banned, and have the cop deliver you to the city boundary. You cross back into town...you go to jail for six months. Repeat as often as necessary. In a year, your vagrant problem will be cleaned up.
If they’re afraid to go out at least they won’t step in the human poop all over the streets...
These people are getting the social environment they have voted for.

San Francisco is in rapid decline. It will soon be another Detroit. I am laughing my ass off watching the liberals destroy this city. No doubt....but watch the housing prices over the next five years. Who is going to pay a million dollars for a house in a druggie district? And if the house isn’t worth a million, how will you handle property taxes (which will spiral downward until you find other ways to tax to pay for the fake stuff)?

. Find a vagrant crapping or causing a disturbance. Explain that you can’t and won’t let them do that in your neighborhood. If they keep it up, then have a group explain it with crowbars.

Sad - I still think that the (shrinking) nice parts of SF are some of the loveliest places on earth. And every time I go out to the Bay area (usually East of SF) I am amazed by the beauty of CA. Easy to understand why our loyal CA Freepers hang on. Really an indictment of leftism - it takes a particular set of skills to F^*&*( up something as wonderful as CA.
To anyone who has never been - ignore the Eeyores on this forum, still well worth visiting for a while yet.
I wish them all the worst. Sometimes the answer is vigilante justice. Too many snowflakes there to make that happen.
