A federal judge on Thursday threatened to hold Attorney General Jeff Sessions in contempt after discovering that the Trump administration attempted to transfer a woman and her daughter out of the country while an appeal hearing for their deportation was underway.
U.S. District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan granted the American Civil Liberty Union's (ACLU) request for an emergency order to halt the expedited removal of immigrants seeking asylum from domestic abuse and gang violence after he learned the government had put a plaintiff in the case and her daughter on a flight to Central America.

The development comes the same week the ACLU filed a lawsuit on behalf of 12 migrants against Sessions for restricting the causes for which an immigrant can be granted asylum.
Does Trump and Co have any plans to ever take off the gloves with these Judges?
Because district court judges rule the entire country. /s

Threaten the judge with arrest and trial for interfering with enforcement of federal laws.
Can she lock Sessions up? Would that be a bad thing?
Isn't that a little bit of expanded authority?
Sessions might go to sleep, as he has been doing; claim there is a conflict of interest; or “fire” the Judge using Mueller to get it done; or...
Define that past a cliche.
They cant fire a judge. They cant have them arrested.
So what do you want them to do?

SCOTUS could (and should) police this.
They ruled in the last session that Trump has the executive authority to interpret and enforce immigration laws.
They need to start smacking-down circuit judges who entertain these cases. Disciplining them if necessary.
The Justice system is so messed up they all think they hold the reins of power. Trump is not a politician.. is he getting advice as to what he CAN do with his seat of President? At this point, not sure they want him to have ANY power. He’s the only sane one.. let him act as President.
Tell the Judge to stuff it.
There’s something call the ‘U.S. Committee on Judicial Conduct and Disability of the Judicial Conference’. It can impose a number of penalties on federal judges, such as preventing them from presiding over cases for lengthy periods.
And you will have to present a case that is a bit more tight than they made a stupid ruling we dont like.
Session is following the law regarding asylum.

I hold Sessions in contempt too, but not for the reason this judge complained about.
Interesting case.
So which branch of .gov is supreme? If the judge can write, interpret, and enforce law as zhe feels fit, then why have the other branches at all?
