Rounding up the usual suspects? I would think a quick ID of people behind a drone bombing would be difficult and take more time.

Normally, yes. But he knows who his most obvious enemies are, so he’ll pick them up first, and not notice those closest to him given the quickness (or shortsightedness) of the decision?

I would doubt that it was a “drone bombing,” because that actúally would have gotten him - and the soldiers wouldn’t have seen it anyway.

IMHO, it was a launched propane tank (a favorite weapon throughout Latin America) that overshot its mark and landed in this building where the firefighters could legitimately say that it was a propane tank explosion. The soldiers would have seen it and known immediately what it was.

Don’t forget that Maduro controls every word the media writes.
