Saw on the late news on WCBS NY that two anonymous sources in the Venezuelan military said it was a gas leak in the bldg and not a drone.
There’s another thread here on FR with lots of pictures from immediately after the explosion. In some of them you can see the burnt out apartment where the windows are blown out and flames have run up the outside wall from the top of the window. There is also a picture from a distance and above showing flames coming out of the windows.

I saw that also on the late news from Tegucigalpa. I haven’t heard any more about Maduro’s immediate claim that there were two or three more bombs in other parts of Caracas.
Regardless of what happened, Maduro will use it as a lucky excuse to round up and execute some of his most powerful opponents.
Maduro wants a “wag the dog” war with Colombia really bad, so we’ll see where all this goes.
Nah, more likely a hot air balloon with him in the basket, with bomb prematurely going off, and blowing up the balloon, him falling away.....
So now, the unamerican left will complain about imaginary involvement by the Trump administration -- even though Venezuela is a neosoviet client state. Thanks DCBryan1.
A real explosion, totally accidental that Maduro tried to turn into a PR stunt.
Notice the explosion was from the interior? The burnt wall shows it. Its not a Reichstag fire either. If it was a drone it would have been spotted. If Trump sent the drown, there would have been services for Maduro today and the country would be in mourning. The new president, General???? would be sworn in.
My vote is on PR stunt.
