Thank you. Sounds a bit kooky. Again, good for her for helping to get this guy. I used to wonder how people could get roped into some of the 9/11 conspiracies and such.
A few months ago, my daughter asked me to explain 9/11 and the building collapsing. She watched a Youtube video that convinced her that the planes didn’t make the towers collapse. This is MY daughter with a 4.11 GPA in a private high school. She is very mature and a very critical thinker for her age (16). She is also a bit stubborn. I was a bit stunned.
It took me longer than I would have expected to explain the engineering to her and then the nature of these “convincing” pieces of evidence and conspiracies. It ended up being a good lesson for her. But it was also educational for me. I will not take for granted that someone duped into faith in a crazy conspiracy if simply an idiot. Instead, it is important to discredit their proof, intellectually and with some respect, as hard as it might be.
I agree. The wash Post has figured out that identifying Q people with trump supporters turns off independent voters. That is why the wapo just ran a Q story two days ago. I expect other MSM news to start getting on the expose Q bandwagon because it makes the trump supporters look like a bunch of conspiracy nuts, just like the media stories are starting to portray them.
So yes, since the media likes to portray trump people as racists, bigots, uneducatd, toothless fools why not brand them as conspiracy kooks as well. And nothing spells conspiracy like Q.
