It seems to me that the easily offended actually like to be offended.

That some people cannot be properly happy unless they think there’s something wrong or the world is against them.

So actively seeking to offend such persons is sort of a public service. That’s why when one of these twits says they’re offended the proper response is to either say you’re happy for them that they’re offended or just to say “you’re welcome”.

If a conservative doesn’t like something, he avoids it. For example, if a particular TV show offends me, I simply stop watching that show.

But if a TV show - or a statue, or an idea, or anything - offends a liberal, that offending item must be destroyed.

I suppose that when liberals first tried that tact (maybe 20 years ago) they were amazed by how easy it was...how easy society gave in.

So now the liberals are drunk with power. Anything less than 100% PC must go. And it must go immediately. So yes, there is a fascist mentality in the US. And it’s on the left.

Meh. I post a lot on youtube videos and I get attacked like that by the left. My response is to be reasonable, thoughtful, and out them as idiots and finally, when their anger has allowed them to remove all doubt of their lunacy to any lurker, give them a “you get the last word, make it count” post. The results are hilarious. And I NEVER post to them again on that thread, no matter what their “last word” is.
