Tucker Carlson slams immigrant lawyer as 'citizen of country controlled by conquistadors'

Fox News host Tucker Carlson dismissed on Monday an immigration attorney’s argument that all American residents should be given the right to vote, saying he was from a country “controlled by conquistadors.”

Cesar Vargas, who immigrated to the U.S. from Mexico illegally, appeared on "Tucker Carlson Tonight," where he argued that the right to vote should be expanded to include anyone who lives in America.

"I think it goes to the concept of citizenship. As a nation, we have matured from only free, land-owner, white people — to now women and African Americans," said Vargas, who is able to remain in the U.S. because he got a green card.

"Don’t hit me with the race crap," Carlson interjected. "As a citizen of a country controlled by conquistadors, don’t lecture me about this stuff."

"I believe that we should open the franchise, the right to vote, to everyone," Vargas asserted.

Carlson broke out into a fit of laughter at that suggestion.

"I must say, I don’t know what 'chutzpah' is in Spanish, but for you sitting here illegally and we’re not reporting you or having you, like, taken out by force...You’re telling me that the essence of our country is not the Constitution, it’s letting illegals vote?" Carlson said.

"It’s about us truly embracing that everyone can be an American," Vargas retorted.

The spirited back-and-forth comes as President Trump has renewed the focus on illegal immigration and his desire to change the country's immigration laws.

The president took to Twitter on Sunday to claim that he would be willing to shut down the government in September if Congress did not provide adequate funding for his border wall and implement changes to legal immigration program.

Trump doubled down on that threat on Monday, though he said he'd be willing to negotiate.

The president has repeatedly railed against existing immigration laws, claiming they are the "worst" in the world and that they make the U.S. a "laughingstock."

“...Cesar Vargas, who immigrated to the U.S. from Mexico illegally,...”

No, he didn’t “Immigrate”. He broke OUR laws, crashed OUR border, and now lectures US on how evil we are.

GTFO of here and go back to your own country.

Sick of these freeloading bastards making demands on us.

It would be fun to ask him if Gringos should be able to vote in Mexican elections.

Carlson is not wrong.
Trouble is that almost all Mexicans are to some degree “conquistadors” genetically.

New York State has given him a law license. Carlson was great during this segment. It would have only been better if a cop had come on set and arrested the guy.

If that were me instead of Tucker, I’d have had ICE agents waiting backstage for this f*cktard criminal.

Surprise, surprise.

How queer that Democrat shills are trying to argue that foreign nationalists should be able to interfere with and influence US elections.

Operation Wetback, U.S. immigration law enforcement campaign during the summer of 1954 that resulted in the mass deportation of Mexican nationals (1.1 million persons according to the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service [INS], though most estimates put the figure closer to 300,000).

Drafted by U.S. Attorney General Herbert Brownell, Jr., and vetted by Pres. Dwight D. Eisenhower, Operation Wetback arose at least partly in response to a portion of the American public that had become angry at the widespread corruption among employers of sharecroppers and growers along the Mexican border and at the Border Patrol’s inability to stem the influx of illegal workers.

>>”...better if a cop had come on set and arrested the guy.”<<

Exactly. Two ICE agents using handcuffs belonging to the Florida police officer who just succumbed to his injuries inflicted on his person by a criminal illegal alien invader scumbag.

The constitution is only of consequence to them if THEY can use the parts THEY want, but WE can’t be allowed to use. Otherwise, it’s no more valuable to them than toilet paper. I wonder who gave this invader a green card, and how DARE he tell us how to run OUR country?!

"It’s about us truly embracing that everyone can be an American," Vargas retorted.

What a load of nonsense, but there are hundreds of millions around the world with that attitude, and the belief that coming to America can be the answer to their poor living conditions and lack of opportunity.

And if we don't get control of our borders and our legal immigration and asylum programs, hundreds of millions more will come here eventually because we are probably a few decades, and few tens of millions more Third World immigrants, away from the tipping point where the open borders advocates will have a ruling majority.

And they have no clue what it takes to have an affluent and successful nation.

Don’t bother informing them of the irony. The ones who know, don’t care, and the ones too stupid to see it are unteachable.

Trouble is that almost all Mexicans are to some degree “conquistadors” genetically.

I think the descendants of the conquistadors mostly stay in Mexico as the ruling elite, and many of those with little conquistador blood head to El Norte to find a better situation. And the conquistadors count on that continuing to happen to preserve their privileged lifestyle in Mexico.
