Burger King raises awareness about 'Pink Tax'

Personally, I don't believe there is such a think as a "pink" tax. Any price disparity is random.

Women buy expensive shampoo and conditioner at $20.00 or $30.00 dollars per bottle and that's not even high end. I use Suave shampoo and get a very large bottle for $1.89. Women's razors are more expensive than the same identical product for men. The list goes on and on. At the cash register the higher tab has a higher tax.

Women are fools in that respect but we still marry them and our money pays for it. In that respect, all these 44 years of marriage, my paycheck paid the so called pink tax. And no, my beautiful wife has never worked more that a few months as long as we have been married.

The BK’s in my area (local franchise) are generally not too bad, but the food has way too much salt in it. I now only go there if my daughter wants something there (and I can often talk her out of that), or if I’m super short on time and they are the best alternative for the $$. (The local franchise sometimes runs some very good coupons.)

Granted that I cooked for myself as a single guy for a LONG time, so I’m not as picky as some. I still avoid McDonalds as much as possible, though. Their buns have a sort of aftertaste, vaguely coffee-like(?), that I just don’t like. (I dislike coffee, too.)

Women just love being called a chick... I used to call my late Mom and her long-time women friends girls for years and they never cared one bit. And they were in their eighties.
