After the devastating earthquakes in 2010, the family, like 57,000 others, was granted temporary protective status, or TPS.
Thousands of Haitian parents now have less than a year to decide what to do with their American-born children. An immigration policy that allowed them to stay in the U.S. is set to expire next July.

Someone please tell me why our “response” to some $hit hole country having a natural disaster is to let some of their residents move here “temporarily” for seven years? To me this is just another way for Liberals to bastardize our population. Without Trump, these people would not be being forced to vacate our country and go home. I also don’t know why they should be given another year “to put their affairs in order here” before being forced to leave?

Many work seasonally in citrus processing plants there and collect unemployment and welfare after harvest season.
