it's also a minuscule amount when you consider what Congress spends, even on a daily basis.Congress wastes millions every day. It's disgusting. Congress should pay us back out of their own pockets.

What members of Congress voted to waste this money?

Believe it or not I’ve never taken a selfie. Never. I can count the number of times I’ve “texted” on two hands.

Pictures tend to be depressing (e.g. I thought I looked a little thinner than that..), so no, selfies do not make me happy. Pictures might motivate me to work out more, but they also destroy my comforting delusions..

“$500,000...for a study to see if taking selfies increases happiness.”
Did I read that right?
BS!

a worthy cause to fund a study to see if taking selfies increases happiness. I think it was a worthy cause. It means that Congress has busy constructing its own gallows at taxpayer expense, so the taxpayers are going to get their money's worth. This will increase the taxpayers' happiness.
If Congress knew what it were doing, it wouldn't do that.

Yeah, it’s so minuscule I am sure it’s no problem if we put it on your tax bill next year instead of ours.
