An Oregon woman recently came home to an unusual surprise: a mountain lion, which continued taking a nap for six more hours behind her sofa.
The odd encounter took place on July 8 in the Ashland, Ore., home of Lauren Taylor.
After drinking from a pond in Taylors backyard, the cat likely entered her home through an open back door, she explained in Facebook. The post had garnered more than 17,000 reactions and shares as of Tuesday morning.

Good luck with that! LOL Let us know how it works.
Hmm, nice cave, great accommodations, and a two-legged meal to boot...
Good thing for the cat that it entered an Oregon hippie commune. If it invaded a hillbilly home, its head would have been mounted on the wall that afternoon.
N xt story will be of hungry cougar eating lunatic woman
Read her comments. Interesting situation, but her text reveals bimboness raised to the Nth power where N is a large number.
Great pics, however.
I agree and it’s shocking some people are willing to donate their death to these “wonderful” wild creatures.
There’s a time and a place woman.
I thought cougars only preyed on younger dudes.
(bada bing bada boom!)
;^)
Oregon Ping :)
And I thought the only people who left doors and windows open so animals can get in and out were the family on “Lassie”.
Bad kitty!
CC
It’s called the long pig.
Expect the unexpected!
Why it’s always good to have a laser pointer on hand......just in case.....................

At that point, can you really call it “her home” anymore?
Turns out that big cats are not interested in laser pointers. Some wildlife rescue place did the experiment and put it on youtube. I think it’s because big cats are not attracted to prey that small.
They will still go nuts for catnip though!
