A federal judge in Virginia agreed Monday to grant immunity to five potential witnesses in Paul Manafort’s upcoming trial — but, in a blow to Special Counsel Robert Mueller, said their identities would be made public.
Mueller’s team wanted the identities of their witnesses to remain confidential, saying in a filing last week that they haven’t been criminally charged and to avoid “undue harassment.”
But Judge T.S. Ellis, a Ronald Reagan appointee, said they would be identified.
He also ordered Mueller’s office to provide a list of about 30 witnesses to Manafort’s lawyers.

Why would that deal a blow to Mueller’s probe (unless the five are all deep-state Democrats who are guilty of crimes under Obama?)

Look for all of them to get it once the full extent of the fraudulent FISA warrants are revealed.

Mueller has an awful litigious track record. He really is that dumb.

Immunity is a double edge sword.
Once granted immunity they can not later fall back on the 5th amendment. So if put on the witness stand and asked questions they can not not refuse to answer nor will they be able to play the “I can not remember card”.
Do these people really want immunity?
Honestly now, when was the last time you saw a MSM outlet identify "a Barack Obama appointee?"
Well now. We’ve been hearing for a week now “unnamed sources” telling us that one or both of the Podesta Brothers would be granted immunity.
Now we shall see.

I never heard of not providing the list of witnesses to the defense. “have not been charged”...so what, what crimes did they commit and since they will be testifying. the defense must be apprised of whom they are to attack their credibility. What is the list:

John Brennan
an AP editor
the Podesta arch criminals?
That is a lovely thing.
And if the immunity deal is partial, then what? I’m thinking now of the Podestas.
Just why can’t they say “I don’t know?” I think this is precisely what’s going to happen. Why would they incriminate themselves? Why wouldn’t they just lie and accuse Manafort and Trump of everything under the sun? I don’t see the downside. Practically speaking they are bulletproof.
