A former aide for President Obama tore into James Comey after the ex-FBI director urged Democrats not to “lose” their minds and “rush to the socialist left.”
Tommy Vietor, a former Obama spokesperson and current co-host of the popular "Pod Save America" podcast, responded to Comey on Sunday afternoon.
“Hey Jim, we got this covered,” Vietor wrote on Twitter. “No one is asking for your advice. As we saw during the campaign, your judgment isn’t great! All the best, everyone.”
His tweet came after Comey told Democrats that leaning too far to the left is what President Trump and his Republican Party “are counting on you to do.”
Comey’s advice comes less than a week after he urged his followers to vote for Democratic candidates in November's midterm elections.
His suggestion received backlash from former advisers to Hillary Clinton.
Clinton’s former campaign press secretary Brian Fallon shared a similar sentiment to Vietor.
“Democrats don't want your endorsement, but thanks,” Fallon tweeted to Comey on Wednesday.
Clinton and many of her former campaign staffers have publicly lashed out at Comey after he released a letter, days before the 2016 presidential election, reopening the investigation into her private email server.
Clinton has attributed Comey’s move, in part, to her defeat.
Comey was then later fired by Trump in May 2017.
Either way, Comey is a man without a political party.
Narcissist like Comey, Hillary, Brennan, Obama will keep spilling their crap looking for their almighty feed.
They couldn’t stop if they tried.
He cut loose the Clintons, Marc Rich, et al but it wasn’t enough. Blame Weiner, libs, we would’ve learned of those emails sooner or later.
Hiding the news until after election day would’ve been rigging an election.

Tommy Vietor is a clownish figure from the Obola years. He’s the one who said about Bengazi “Dude, that was Two Years ago!”. But on this, he’s right. Not many people other than reporters are asking Comey for any advice. Both sides have been snakebit by his games.
This dispute should be settled in a way that fits the personalities of both men. Comey should challenge Vietor to a good, old-fashioned slapping contest.
Now, tell that same message to Barrack Obama, wherever he is.

Number one, knowing Comey supports establishment Demwits comes as no surprise; number two, knowing that Obama supporters are leftists is also no surprise; number three, after the ass-beating the socialists will be given in the fall, Comey will be going to prison, but the next paranoid Nevertrumper smear will be that Trump manipulated the election outcome by *forcing* the DNC to the left.
