Californias economic engine paused in June, as employers added a meager 800 new jobs. The unemployment rate held steady at a record low of 4.2%, according to data released Friday by the states Employment Development Department.
The June numbers represent a pullback from May, when the Golden State added 7,200 jobs. And the gains in May were much smaller than April, when employers boosted payrolls by nearly 26,000.

"The slowdown could signal that California is simply reaching full employment. Employers are struggling to find workers. Or it could be a sign of sagging confidence among executives. A growing trade war with China, for example, has unnerved companies in Californias logistics industry and beyond."
Ok, maybe it's tough to pin it down. If I had to guess, it's because Commiefornia sucks.
In a state of 40 million people. Wow.
That DOES stand out starkly when it’s framed that way doesn’t it?
I’ve found jobs for probably 10X that many people.

4.2% unemployment is full employment
Milton Friedman explained many times why there is no such thing as 0% unemployment. Im not going to list the reasons he cites here but just refer anyone who thinks 4.2% is a problem in a particular economy to Milton Friedman. But google: youtube Milton Friedma
duh! they have already cut off their nose in spite of their face they’re down to toes and fingers now. Liberal progressive ideas are so great they need to be mandatory!

Maybe, but we have a whole new industry here in NJ (for NJ; I know people have done this forever): Caring for abandoned/vacant homes...
