Rep. Devin Nunes (R., Calif.), in a wide-ranging audio interview with his House colleague Rep. Sean Duffy (R., Wis.), accused top officials at the FBI and DOJ of "putting all their chips on the Republicans losing the House" so that their Democratic allies can "shut down" the longstanding Intelligence Committee probe, which has unearthed information disputing claims of collusion in recent months.

I used to think Trump was playing some kind of long game by not firing RR. I watched him with Tucker Carlson yesterday and I no longer think so. He has made decision (another bad one in my view) that he is not going to have involvement the Justice dept. including who is working there. We have been screaming for him to fire RR for over a year. Starting with him setting Trump up by using the Comey firing as an excuse to hire Mueller (Comey’s BFF) as SC. He is not going to do it and it will probably cost us the House and maybe the Senate.
Why not just declassify everything, Mr. President?
Ask yourself where Western Civilization would be had Hillary won? It would be finished for good. They have to take down the US with Europe. There would be no greener grass here, Hillary would see to that. It would all be pitched by the dutiful media as inevitable and the new normal. The end of Western Civilization was within sight, they could taste it.
Now with Trump those plans could take decades.

Mueller and his handler RR are only preaching to the leftist choir. They have no impact on independents who will vote on the ecponomy and illegal immigration.
That said, there are vocal Trump supporters who say they will be officially disappointed and demoralized and that will lower turnout for Trump. Turnout beyond the core issues will be driven by motivated people on both sides. The leftists driving the buses to polling places will be motivated regardless but firing RR might motivate them even more. The motivated conservatives making calls and donating will be only modestly affected by firing RR. I don't see a lot of vote gain from firing RR or vote loss from not firing.
Send in the army if necessary.
