Congress would have to do something that looks more like work, if we wanted to see more.
I’m not sure that getting rid of Strzok would go beyond a superficial action. The alphabets that are set up by Congress, if we are to keep them, all need an inspection port through which Congress can see what’s going on inside. That might have to mean making them smaller. A government too big to inspect is too big, period.

I understand your animus. It is, however, misplaced. Members of House oversight committees do NOT have prosecutorial duties or powers. Those powers are vested in the Executive Branch’s DOJ. Sessions is the one we should be pillaring!
This fact is one of the reasons Gowdy is leaving the House to again take up duties as an DDA.
I wonder if he’ll be able to file charges on some of those he exposed during his committee tenure? That will be the test of his commitment to Law and Order!
I agree that it appears that Gowdy is merely controlled opposition.
