I was in the Situation Room of Air Force One, the airplane used to fly the most powerful human being on earth around the world.
Hannah, the presidential aide tasked with escorting me around it, was very polite but also VERY firm.
‘You can in one of those,’ she suggested, pointing to one of the chairs around the Situation Room desk. ‘They swivel.’

I saw AF 1 twice when G W went to Spfld MO. Oh, I saw it this spring fly over my house, too.
First, 2 fighter jets flew over and I always run outside when I hear them. I stayed outside and saw this other bigger jet flying low and sure enough. Called a friend out who had been working on his car and he was just as excited as I was.
I get excited at lots of things though. Ospreys, Chinooks, Apaches. Haven’t seen my fave in years. The A-10. But I digress.

Go to the Reagan Library in Simi Valley, CA and you can tour the whole airplane. Of course it is much smaller. I flew with President Reagan’s Sec of AF from Andrews to Phoenix on one of the lesser Air Force Ones. Actually it was the plane that candidate Reagan used during the campaign run-up to the election. The AF NCO in the back with us said all of the crews were so happy to have Reagan as the new President. Carter were never led them do their job. They said Carter’s mother could polish off a bottle of Southern Comfort by herself and would have to poker games going at different parts of the plane. One with the staff and the other with the reporters.

As for the m&ms, I have a few boxes of the same type except from the Clinton white house. They have been handing them out for years like candy and I’m surprised the boxes look the same.

I agree PDJT came across with a wonderfully positive approach but I can't take the sanctimonious Morgan. I quit after reading about half way through.

JC was notorius for giving the Executive Flight personnel a hard time. At bottom he did not believe the US President should have such a massive transport array. He really disliked the 747 flying White House. CArter had used atwin e ngine prop plane as Gov of Ga and that should be enough.

Flew JC when he was campaigning against Ford. Flew him from Newark to Toledo and back to Newark. He was polite and came up to the cockpit to thank us. I was amazed how short he was. Those are the only two things that I can say about him on a site such as this....
Betcha all the seats were re-upholstered since Hillary could have sat in one-—even if Donald paid personally for the job.
