I can give a “man on the street” kind of view ... Currently I am on a large camping trip with 60+ people (mostly family) and in the past 48 hours no one has talked politics. But i can tell you i can count on one hand the Repub voters. The rest just vote Dem because ... They always have. And they think Trump is a joke (even though they have benifitted emensly from the tax cuts).
I would like to causion all of you against being over confident about Repub chances and claimes of Dems falling apart.
The Dem voters will be out in droves, they are just not talking politics like they use to when they were in charge.

I was on a large shooting trip at the range, surrounded by hundreds of people, and nobody talked politics. But I can tell you i can count on one hand the rat voters. The rest just vote Rep because...They always have. And they think Hillary is a joke.
The Dem voters will turn out in dark Blue Dem areas like the always due. That not where control is won. There is NO sign at all, and a very large numbers of signs, that Dems have fired up their base, and pissed off everyone else.
That is not how you win elections.
