This will never be described as a war/rift/divide within the Democrat party by the Ministry of Propaganda as they would describe similar things happening in the GOP.

The left has itself developed a left. Poor Coons is about as close to Democrat right as they get.

The Democrats are now clear over the line into Anarchy with BLM, ANTIFA, their refusal to accept Trump as the duly elected President of the United States, and their full court press to impeach him for nothing at all.
They have their people on the streets acting like actual Brown Shirts.
These people are seditionists and worse.

Well yes, and when the smoke clears a lot of current Democrat voters will be like, how could this have ever been tolerated.

That’s a bit ironic. Coons is not a moderate democrat by any stretch of the imagination. If mainstream liberals like him are starting to have heartburn, the democrat party might really have some major issues...

Cry me a river ash hole. This is YOUR fault for being a Democrat which means being anti-American. Now it has caught up to you and you don’t like it. Tough shiite.

Yes but this seems to be one of those situations like the forest and sound. If a tree falls in the forest and there nobody around, is there a sound?
If a crime is committed but nobody is paying attention, is the perp still guilty?
Obviously not...

Donald Trump, if nothing else, has managed to be one magnificent Troll of Trolls to the Democrats. He's a laser pointer and the libs are cats.

To get all barbarian is a big mistake for the GOP here, even though they could run wild beating their chests in glee. He’s complaining about losing the last vestiges of being American. It is said we don’t miss the water till the well runs dry. This could be a party defect if barbarians don’t taunt such people away.

Wanna lay odds on Coons switching parties after the election? He'd never win reelection in Delaware if he did.

In Delaware, on the Federal level, generally, that's not much more than just changing the name, not one's leftist position.
(Not necessarily true at the state and local levels.)

My only worry about that is that every Dem pol who switches to Repub, move the entire Repub party to the left.
Let’s face it, the Repub party needs no help moving further to the left.

Coons is not a moderate democrat by any stretch of the imagination. If mainstream liberals like him are starting to have heartburn, the democrat party might really have some major issues... The center of gravity has shifted so far left in the Democrat party, that mainstream liberals are now 'moderates'.
Meanwhile, true moderate Democrat voters are walking away from the Dems altogether....or should I say, the party is walking away from them.
